Clinical Supervision - LGPC Approved Supervision
CHCT Services LLC provides Maryland Board-approved clinical supervision for Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPCs pursuing independent licensure.
Supervision is provided by a Maryland Board-approved supervisor and is structured to meet all applicable requirements of the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. Services are offered in both individual and group supervision formats and are grounded in ethical practice, clinical competence, and professional development.
Supervision is reflective, supportive, and focused on strengthening clinical judgment, professional identity, and ethical decision-making while ensuring appropriate documentation and tracking of supervision hours.
Individual Clinical Supervision
Individual supervision provides personalized, one-to-one support tailored to the supervisee’s clinical setting, scope of practice, and licensure goals.
Individual supervision may include:
Case conceptualization and clinical formulation
Ethical decision-making and boundary management
Documentation review and clinical reasoning
Risk assessment and professional judgment
Development of professional identity and competence
Preparation for independent clinical practice
Individual supervision is conducted in accordance with Maryland Board regulations and includes a formal supervision agreement and required documentation.
Supervision Structure & Compliance
Supervision is provided under a formal supervision contract
Hours are tracked and documented in accordance with Maryland Board requirements
Supervision services are distinct from consulting, training, and psychotherapy services
Availability is based on capacity and appropriateness of fit
Clinical supervision is provided solely for licensure purposes and does not constitute employment, therapy, or consultation.
